You won't believe how many Apple devices were activated on Christmas
Yesterday we talked about all of the shiny new gadgets people got over the holidays, and the many ways they can protect their investments with mighty slim protection. Well, to be expected, not many people waited so long to activate their new devices. Take a look at which brand dominated new device activations this year. The mobile analysts at Flurry released their annual holiday report that takes a look at all of the device activations that happen on December 25, Christmas day. The site tracked over 600,000 apps to discover that Apple accounted for over half of new device activations this year. Top_Manufacturers_hires_vJE The experts themselves put this in perspective by noting that "for every Samsung device that was activated, Apple activated 2.9 devices. For every Microsoft Lumia device activated, Apple activated 8.8 devices." Since the two most activated devices were the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, TechCrunch points to this as the ever-rising popularity of phablets and larger-screened smartphones. No surprise there, since the pioneer of the phablet Samsung is next behind Apple with its new Note 4. So for all of you Apple fans who have a brand new smartphone, tablet, or laptop- be sure to shop our latest sale and take 20% off TODAY on slim protection for your iPhone, iPad, and so much more.
