MAKE YOUR OWN PHONE STAND

This is one of the easiest and most simple phone hacks for anyone out there. All you need is a paperclip. Maybe two or three just in case you mess up a few times, but we guarantee you, it works and it’s super simple.

STEP ONE:

Take your paper clip and bend the longest side towards your thumb until it’s vertically intersecting the rest of the paper clip.

STEP TWO:

Now, take the smaller under-section and bend it parallel to the longer side.

STEP THREE:

Set the paper clip on your desk or table and make sure that it’s sitting flush with the surface.

STEP FOUR:

Place your phone horizontally inside the small opening and that’s it. Enjoy an easier way to watch videos, facetime, anything really.

MAKE YOUR OWN MACRO LENS FOR UP CLOSE PHOTOGRAPHY

Phone photography is one of the biggest perks to owning any smartphone. But, if you don’t have the new iPhone 11 or if you haven’t purchased an aftermarket lens kit, then you definitely don’t have a macro lens for great up-close nature or food photography.

All you need is a cup of water and your phone and you can take your own amazing macro lens photos.

STEP ONE:

Lay your phone flat on a table or any surface with the screen facing down so the camera is visible and grab a small cup of water.

STEP TWO:

Place your finger in the water so it’s slightly saturated. Then take your finger and gently drop a single droplet right over the camera lens.

STEP THREE:

Go out and take some amazing macro photos of nature, food, anything you want an up close shot of.

TURN YOUR PHONE OR PHONE CASE INTO A MAKEUP BAG

For any women out there that have been out-and-about and forgot their makeup, this tip is just for you. With little to no work you can easily transform the back of your phone or a phone case into a mini makeup room. All you’ll need is your phone, a phone case (if you use one), a strip of double sided adhesive tape, and an eyeshadow palette of your choice.

STEP ONE:

Take your phone or phone case and gently wipe down the back to make sure there’s no dust or grime on it. Then, grab one of your favorite, small eyeshadow palettes and a strip of double sided adhesive.

STEP TWO:

Attach the double-sided adhesive strip to the back of your eyeshadow palette and then stick it to your phone or phone case and press firmly to make sure it’s sticking.

STEP THREE:

That’s it. You’ve just turned your phone into a makeup accessory as well. Start applying your eyeshadow or makeup.

TECH HACKS FOR YOUR IPHONE

TURN YOUR KEYBOARD INTO A TRACKPAD

There’s nothing worse than trying to tap around a text message or email on your phone and the cursor won’t go where you want it to go. It’s maddening, and extremely frustrating if there are quick errors you need to fix. Thankfully, the iPhone is capable of doing some pretty awesome tricks if you really know the ins-and-outs of it.

All you need to do is press down on your text keyboard and the keys will disappear. When the keys disappear, you can slide your thumb around in this space to move your text cursor. Press harder and you can select text.

If you release a bit of pressure, you can deselect text, and then select it again by pressing down. Voila.

USE YOUR NOTES APP AS A DOCUMENT SCANNER

Have you ever needed to scan any documents for work or school, but of course, there isn’t a scanner around? Don’t fret, because your iPhone basically has one built in. Simply open up your iOS Notes and click the plus sign found at the bottom of the screen. It’ll bring up a menu, and then choose the “Scan Documents” option.

Use your camera to take a photo of your document and add it to your notebook. You even have options like black and white, or grayscale, or color so the document looks exactly how you want it.
